It sounds like he has a knee fetish. If it is creeping you out then you should just find a way to be honest with him and in a nice way that you are no longer interested.

if you're totally in love with him, then that shouldn't be a reason for you to not anymore. Just deal with it, or tell him you're uncomfortable with it but that you still care about him. Don't ruin your relationship over something stupid.
