You should try to get to know him first, but don't be too forward, it will make you look easy . I would first become friends with him and build it up on a gradual basis. And like Nicole1 was saying, be yourself as well. If he likes you, then he will do something. It does not matter what race you are or what race you're trying to win the heart of, because this advice applies to everyone.

Do you know if he would date a black woman? If not it's going to be hard no matter what you do.
Just be fun and interesting, find some stuff you can enjoy doing together. Women bond best by talking, but guys bond best by doing.
I've been white all my life :) and I date women that are:
-Attractive
-Interesting
-Sane
As long as you're not ugly or insane you really only have to find where his interests are!

hunny food is the best way to any mans heart lol.. nah seriosuly.. dont work topo hard at trying to win someones heart.. The men are suppose to do that for us! like the person before me said.. be yourself.. and if he doesnt like it then screw him! move on to the next

color shouldn't be an issue, but in most cases it is. if you truly like the guy regardless of his color, love should be the only thing that matters. try watching the movie SOMETHING NEW featuring Sanaa Lathan and Simon Baker. although the roles are reversed.

Ask him tons of questions about his life. Not nosy stuff, but give him lots of opportunities to talk about his car, motorcycle, dog, family, etc... THEY LOVE THAT!!!! And then compliment him on everything, they love that, too....
