Hmm, what do you think? I don't think I would use neosporin for final treatment. I wouldn't use it for an open wound. But if looks like needs moisture, a little coat and definitely get back to the doctor. Don't want anything to fall out.

no because it will only make the wound moist. neosporin is for already healed wounds to keep infection out. it slows the healing process down.
i suggest leaving it how it is, but if you are afraid of infection, swab some hydrogen peroxide on it and but a bandaide on it loose enough to let your wound breathe.

What wound are you refering too? I would not put anything on stitches without my doc's permission!!! Give it time and if you are still concerned, call you dr
