I am not defending harm done by my faith. I am however stated that not ALL Catholics are pedophiles nor should we be judged by the actions of those who are. Your opinions please?

Now this I have a problem with. A normal male would not abuse a child unless he had these proclivities towards children.

I believe that the church is made up of believers all over this planet. We are somewhat scattered though, in many denominations. I also believe there are many churches that have few -to no Christians at all.
As far as 'not all Catholics are pedophiles', I agree 100%. I know several Catholics who are straight as an arrow. However, Catholics (parishioners) must stand up to the Priest, Bishops, Cardinals, and the Pope-and force them to clean out the Catholic church. If you don't-then it will remain just as it is.

The church is within the person themselves; when christ returns He is coming for a church without spots or wrinkles. A person or people that are holy and without blame before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4) and Ephesians 5:27.
The body of Christ have many members and they have different functions. The officials themselves are nothing but members of the body of Christ; even though they too have different functions.
The true head of the church is Christ Jesus, just as He is the head of each of us that are called His. When Christ comes and if there be be one person that is truly saved to go back with Him that person will be the church that He has come back for. But I know there will be more than one just using that for an example.
But the church is within the people of God themselves whether there be one, two or 100,000 it is within and if all are righteous and holy then them are the church.

There was a time in my life when I thought the Catholic Church was all the members, but as I have aged it is clear to me that the Catholic hiearchy thinks that the Catholic Church is really just the hiearchy.
That's why, for example, when bishops were faced with the problem of pedophile priests, the bishops covered up and protected the pedophiles for decades rather than protecting the children in the pews.
If you are not a priest, you are just another outsider in their eyes.

The church comprised of it's world-wide congregation in that denomination. Catholics are their own church, much like Lutherans, Church of Christ etc.
One or a few mad actions don't make that church/denomination good or bad. Just because a priest molested a little boy doesn't make Catholics perverts. In the same sense, just because a Methodist saves a life, doesn't mean the whole church is a more godly.
One's actions create their unique religious profile. One can classify himself as a Baptist or a Episcopalian, but it's the details of that person's deeds which define him - not his denomination.

the church is the body of believers in christ its nothing to do with an office or a building just the faith in christ to see you through also the pediphile uses any orginization to find children like the boy scouts and others any large group even counselors for foster or children from broken homes so to blame one group is dull witted on the part of some folks

The people of the Church do not necessarily make up the Church of Jesus Christ. There are many bible-toting people that go to church every week that are not going to make it into heaven.
The true church will be exposed during the rapture....so when someone comes up missing....they were part of the church.

I'm not sure when it became okay to judge large groups of people based on the actions of a few. You would think our world would be less bigoted than that, but…
In my church, we refer to everyone as the church - Member or Semi-Regular Attender, anyone that helps or makes up our community in any way. We have few officials.
I'm sorry for those that generalize.

The Church is its members, pure and simple. And in my mind, that includes ALL Christian believers.
There are "models of church" that talk about different ways of organizing Christianity, but if you are asking WHO is in and makes up the Church, it's the people.
