I run tuesday, thursday, and saturday. Each time it's a minimal of two miles. On monday, wednesday, and friday I do weigh training and calisthenics. I started this workout regiment about two months ago. The initial month and a half I felt no pain. Now when I run, towards the end I feel a pain when I move my right shoulder back and forth.

It's getting rather irritating having to deal with it, as the longer I run, the more pain there is. Is there something behind the pain? Anything I can do to stop the pain from happening?

Thank You

I had the same pain tho I never did any running. Had a MRI done n it showed a torn muscle around the area of the rotator cuff. Orthopedist sent me for physiotherapy, ordered I rest the arm for a week. There's was much improvement but it's still hurting a little now.

Shoulder pain can stem from one or more of the following causes:
Strains from overexertion
Tendonitis from overuse
Shoulder joint instability
Dislocation
Collar or upper arm bone fractures
Frozen shoulder
Pinch nerve
Use anti-inflammatory medication (such as Aleve or Motrin) and/or acetaminophen (Tylenol) to help relieve the pain. You may use moist heat or ice.
If pain continues see your doctor

you are probably sleeping on that arm. Try not to. When you run, run in a splint for a week to protect the shoulder.

Go see a doctor and get an x-ray. You might have pulled a muscle or something else.
