They've known about it for sometime but deemed it too expensive to pursue drilling that far down , I think they said it's 5 miles down,whereas the others in the gulf now are only 1-2 miles down..

Shell made $25 Billion in profits in 2005 - I think they want to keep on going.

None of this will affect supply until years down the road.

And 'boy-george' & his crooks will subsidize big oil to go after it,at taxpayers expense,so they can scalp us at the gas pumps!

yeah and they say it will be years before it can impact prices. by then they will have found another way to raise the prices.
