I had to buy some for my son and wanted to know if they work or not.

they work great. i used them last year for my 4th grader. only had to put them on once! hard to get on, but i didnt have to keep replacing them like the paper ones, and you can take them off and wash them if you really want.

YES! THEY DO WORK!
Also, you can buy them in really cute designs and colors.
They are really cheap at Walmart and Target. Even Officemax or Office Depot. Mine lasted for a few years of high school.

ALSO. The chick above me is wrong. The Regular sizes do fit. I used the regular on a huge textbook, it was a little hard getting on but it fit fine and never ripped. Had it for three years.

You need to get the jumbo size. The regular size does not fit most textbooks. These keep the books in much better condition than regular book covers and they do not come off until you want them off. At my school, we are requiring kids to use these.

Well, they work better than paper ones. If you spill something on it, the book can still be ruined. But, it does protect it from pencil or pen marks.

Yep. :) Last year of Jr High and I've had no problems with them, so far. Book sox is the best brand.
