no, i do not think there is anything wrong with a 48 year old woman dating a 44 year old man....there is not that much age difference and they would have lots in common...

44/48 = 22/24 ~ 22/25 = 88%.
Which raises the question; have you learned so much in the last 12% of your life so as to be mentally incompatible with yourself then?
Solve.

who is to judge you? it is not like you are out chasing 21 year olds. at our age.. and by the way i am 50. men from 30 to 70 are fair game. so a man who is only a couple of years younger is no way a big deal. if you like him that is your answer. no one on earth could look down on you! you need to do what makes you happy. the problem with people our age is that when we were growing up we needed our parents and peers approval in all matters. and it still carries over to today. well now we are the adults. we do not need approval any more except in our heads. make your self happy! as long as it does not harm any one go for it! time is getting away. we only live once! thank god!

A 4 year age difference should not stop you from dating this man. Of course he is not to young for you.

You've got to be kidding me. A 17 y/o male would be too young for you to date. I love older women, and I'm only 42. If I wanted to date a 60 y/o, that's up to me, but that's my taste. If age is the only issue preventing you from pursuing a relationship, get rid of that hangup. This could be your soul mate, and you'll never find out if it is if you let an immature decision based on age ruin the moment for you.

Absolutely not! Heck look at Demi and Ashton! Seriosly, don't judge by age, judge by more important things like mutual attraction, openness of communication...things in common....does he make you laugh or feel good about yourself? Can you be yourself with him and still feel accepted...if it was reversed...a 48 year old man with a 44 year old woman would be just fine wouldn't it?

Nope. If you were twenty and he was sixteen, or even if you were thirty and he was twenty-six, it might be an issue. But the difference experience-wise between 44 and 48 is pretty minimal, IMHO.
By all means, go out and enjoy yourself!

the age difference is not that big, what you should really consider in my opinion is how well you 2 get along together i have met some 60 year olds who act in mature and have met some 20 year olds who act very mature. age is just a number! its where we are in our life that should really matter.
