I believe it to be so true, that one can only do the best they can with the knowledge and experience they have at the time. Of course years later we can look back and see how we should of done things differently, but realizing we know that now because of the experiences and life lessons we have learned between then and now. My parents did the best they could. It may not be the way I would do it now for my children, but times are also quite different again from when I was a child at home.

No. Maybe. Who can really answer that? Noone knows what their parents were like when they were younger. I look back at things my Mother did and situations she let happen and I balk at the idea that I could ever do that to my daughter. However, I like to think that maybe she just didn't know that letting your husband hit your kids is a bad thing. Who knows. All I know is that my Mother and I don't talk or communicate in any way (I'm not even sure where she is) and I now take care of the above mentioned kids. The BEST way? Probably not.

I believe that my mother did the best she could in raising me and my other 3 siblings, however once you are on your own the choices you make and the path you choose is based on you. I feel I turned out alright, I've not been in any really bad trouble, and I love education, although I can't say this much for my siblings, and we were all raised the same and by the same parent.

I just answered that question, in your other question. Without repeating it again, I will simply say yes and give credit where it is due. They worked hard all their lives. They were human and made mistakes, like we all do. But I know GOD forgave them their trespasses and they are resting in the love, light, joy and peace of HIS glorious spirit.........peace and love to all who went before us and to all that will someday go too.......

Unfortuantely, for most, the answer is yes.

I don't think most people are qualified to have kids, but evolution produced reproduction long before it made a brain.
