There are many things you can do to strengthen your Walk with God. You are the right age to join a Youth Group and even take a Missions Trip (parents permitting).

There are many Christian Teen Books out there to help guide you along your journey.....a short trip to the Christian Bookstore...or the one online...will help you find something that will educate and guide you into adulthood.

If you can't pinpoint why you are drifting away, have a sit down with your pastor and explain your feelings with him. I'm certain he will have straightforward advice for you. (Helpful advice.)

You are at a stage in life when the whirlwinds and pressures of adulthood start hitting you. Everything from relationships, money, sex, and other peer pressured activities. You are expected to start being responsible for your actions....and that doesn't just mean behaving when you are home alone.

You are experiencing changes and with those changes come choices. The Lord has given us Free Will to make the Choices in our Lives. I can speak from experience that I didn't make all the right choices when I was 13, but I also didn't realize I was drifting from God. The fact that you have gives you an advantage to do something about it. Take the right steps in cementing your relationship with God and continue your walk.

I certainly will be spending time tonight praying for you and praying that the Holy Spirit will guide you along this early challenge in your life.

God Bless You

Yes. I can tell you how I grew close to the Lord, and stay close to Him. First, I attend a good bible teaching church every Sunday. I am also in a bible study, in our women's ministry, from September to May every year. We meet once a week, and break into small groups to talk about our lesson. We take one or two books of the new testament and study it in depth. I also listen to praise and worship music most of the time, meditate on the word of God, and pray often.

Faith is an "active" thing. The bible says to us: faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. If you want to get closer to the Lord, reading, studying, thinking about His word is the way to do it. So is prayer. It is time well spent, and your life will blossom beautifully if you do these things.

Im at the age of 15 and it pertty much seems that sometimes you just feel that you are real bad as in miss behaving or somethin. if you wanna become closer to god talk to him even thought sometimes he dont respond back but believe me he can hear you. Take me for example i always prayed for my dad to stop drinkin and in about 3 months my dad had left the beer. All you need is prayer talk to him and worship him. Tell him how your day was and always before you do anythin always say "lord i put this things in your hands".

Prayer even during the desert periods. When God does not appear to be listening, may actually be when He is nearest your soul, in the very quiet of the wind.

Love greatly. Act as Christ showed us to live. Random acts of kindness without reward, without anyone else realizing your action of love but God.

Study, read, learn more about God, your questions, your concerns about your faith in Him.

I hope this helps you. My prayers are for you and your journey with Christ.

First.....ask God for forgiveness in any past activities that you know that he would not agree on. Second....start back going to church if u do not...but going to church doesnt save you...remember that....its just somrthing to better oyurself on the knowledge about the bible and to better help you grow in this "world" today. Third...start reading the bible or going to bible study or have a study group of your own at someones house. Fourth...beleive in him and that hey can and will heal you and help you through your times of need....remember...believing is the key..Fifth......Stay strong in the word and the minuet you fell like your losing touch...pray to him and ask him to give you the strengh to go on.....BUT remember stay focused...its kind of hard in today's society but you can do it...

If you have already taken him on as your father, to grow closer to him you read the Bible and stay in constant contact with him. When your alone, you can talk to him like you would talk to a friend. Ask him for forgiveness before each prayer and don't be afraid to ask for anything.

The way to have a relationship with God is through prayer. God will never desert you. The path to walk with Him is through prayer. He hears you. Keep praying.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God!

Cultivate your relationship with God, by reading the Word of God, spending time in prayer - just sharing your heart.

Spend time with those who will encourage you in your faith.
It is so important to go to church regularly too.

You can surrender yourself completely to God. You can let him work through you in all ways and join in spiritual warfare against the devil. Now, I'm not yet ready to commit to that, but I plan to once I turn 13.
