If you are suffering from blood clots and not being taken seiously, you need to see a hematoligist. My husband worked with a hematoligist due to a clotting problem and as they specialize in this area, they are great.. Get in to see one asap.

DVT's are very serious and life threatening.. i dont' think your DR wourld not take them seriously.. If you want a second opionion then get one and get a doppler ulterasound to see just how serious they are...your doc should have put you on blood thinner or even clot disolving agents.. if he hasnt' then i would be concerned..

tell your doc that you are not happy and would like a second opinion and ask him to refer you to a specialist.

always seek a second opinion. a specialist, if one can be afforded, is ideal.
