I have not noticed anyone say anything bad about Splenda like they do about aspartame. Not one person, actually. Have you seen any bad side effects??

its not really a side effect, but its something i have noticed. it gives a long lasting aftertaste. to me aftertaste is a bad side effect especially when you are trying to eat things with other flavors. would you believe that even dentists recommend it. i ask them myself. it true

I read about an article by first person experience a few months ago about a lady who started having severe constipation and other side effects in Woman's world she stopped using splenda and out went all the symptoms and splenda is said to affect people with kidney problems more.

I have not heard anything bad about Splenda which is actually derived from sugar. But Aspartame which is in Equal and NutraSweet was originally developed as a powerful ant poison. In fact you can sprinkle that stuff around to kill all types of ant problems and there is plenty of cause for severe health concerns eating anything containing Aspartame from what I have read..

I made a batch of tapioca pudding with Splenda a couple months ago and got sick. I've been avoiding the stuff ever since. Aspartame doesn't seem to bother me.

I haven't heard nor read of any side effects from using Splenda. But I do agree that it does have an after taste. I use Sweet n' Low.

it the only sweetner I can have. Nutrasweet makes me very sick. I don't use alot of splenda but I know I will not not feel lightheaded and get a headache from it
