don't go with a popular breed.you may not be compatible after you have it awhile.i know a boxer who is now in need of a home because he grew faster than the baby.i take in un wanteds,i have 4 rottweilers,2 min pins,a beagle, a red bone coon hound and the newest edition to the family is a chihuahua,that has been threw hell.go save a life, go to the shelter.

I have 5 a:Great Pyraneese, b. Shepherd greyhound mix, c. toy poodle, d. a sheltie (Note: Shelties love to bark but are super loyal and lovable. But have hip and back troubles) e. Bull mastiff - Female she is the most wonderful loving warm caring safe and protective. She will let the poodle try and beat her up. She is protective in the yard. But with me and the other dogs she is super cuddly. I will most likely stick with this breed in the future.

We have two poodles, the female is a one year old French Poodle, Monamie, and the male is a one year old CockaPoo (cocker spaniel/poodle mix) named Snowball. They're both white with tan ears. My mom has a Black Lab, Buddy, he's 3 months old. And my sister has a 3 month old Sharpei, Rubies.

I have a jack russell/ yorkshire terrier mix. He weighs about 9 pounds. He is the most hyper yet sweetest dog ever. Of course I am biased! :o)
