i recently had to do this myself, i first went on the net and asked for a listing of all hospitals in that area, all showed a patient enquiry line number which is linked to all the hospitals, just one phone call led me not only to the hospital but also to the ward the person i was looking for was in.

Call the hospital information desk and ask for the patient. If they are in the hospital, then you will get transferred to the room phone.

There is no way to look up a patient in a hospital. If you call the hospital, the operator will tell you it is a HIPPA violation to pass out names. If the pt puts your name in his or her list, you will be able to talk to him or her. If your not on the list, you can forget it.

No way to do it online.... only way is to call hospital and speak with Patient Information.... and they won't tell you squat if you're not a relative. If you have great concern, ask to be put through to the Floor Nurse and they should be able to assist.

Just call the hospital and ask to be transferred to the persons room. If they are there...success. If not, call another hospital until you find them.
