Hmm...I think he likes you, but you must be careful if you still want to keep your friend Addison. Just as earlier comments have indicated, it could sound awkward later. However, there are chances that Addison might feel comfortable if her brother asks you out or starts seeing you. Just be ready to balance between your friendship with Addison and her brother in such a way that you won't give room for jealousy and/or misunderstanding to develop between two siblings. He's your brothers friend (unless your brother doesn't mind) I mean, imagine how you would feel if your brother dated one of your friends!!
And if he's shy and so are you how do you even really know him well enough to like him?

How many years are you apart? I was once in the same sitch. Well, it most likely won't work out and you'll regret it. OR you could tell him and maybe he has the same feelings but if you don't well you'll regret not asking.
