Yes, because now I seek the TRUTH.

I got sick of their lies and the lies from their 'religion'.

Not really because I choose not to follow any specific religion due to the biases of religious ideologies. Too many people have been killed and too many wars have been fought for the sake of religious concepts. There is only one God and when people stop creating others then maybe we can finally live in peace.

When all the earth is void of humanity there will still be God but there wont be any books written by ignorant desert dwelling people. God is not man and man is not God, nor the children of God, nor the son of God. These are conjurings of mankind in an attempt to portray humans as Godly creatures. It's really humorous when you think about it.

if you have a different belief than your parents and they are die hard religious, their will be some controversy. but no, it's whats in your heart and what you find is true. at least that is the way it is with me. as long as your a good honest person, that's all i really care about, not what kind of religion you are.

When you are younger yes. But as you start "growing up" so to speak and have your own life experiences, you will realize if you believe in the same beliefs as your folks. And if you realize you have opposing views there is nothing wrong with you going to a different type of religious organization.

Yes, it was how I was raised as a Lutheran, but I don't begrudge anyone for how they believe in their religions, but I do not want anyone telling me that my religion is wrong and theirs is right either.
I feel that religion is a state of your heart and soul, more than going to a organizational church in a building.....
