no, haha its normal. my brother who is 13 is the same way. he plays pokemon on his gameboy all the time and is totally obsessed. he will sometimes watch pokemon too. its totally normal, he'll eventually get interested in other things, like my brother is a sports freak and plays all sports imaginable. i know he'll eventually grow out of it, but right now, that's what he likes to do and no one in our family is bugging him about it. so, just leave him alone for now, when he gets to highschool, you might approach him about it, but leave him be. its probably just a stage.

Ummm, are you telling me that you never did exactly the same thing? If there is anything wrong, then it would have to be that the media machine has stolen our kids ability to play by themselves, not with products.
Let you kids have their fun. Tell him not to worry, because his friends aremost likely doing the same thing too. I'm a father of two and i still get glued to the tv when pokemon or dragon ball comes on. Sure, your son is at a sensitive age. He wants so much to act and look more grown up, but he still is interested in playing with what he has.
You should talk to your son. Try to remember your own childhood a little. Tell him what you did or if you had the same worries as him. If he continues to worry, give him a space when he can "hide" the things he doesn't want his friends to see. Tell him that making sure his room is clean will help him not to "get busted" by his friends. They will also be impressed bout how "grown up" he is because his room is so clean.

hope this helps.

No. Your nonetheless a infant or maybe 18 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds and 21 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds often times watch those classes basically to get a snort or to bear in mind the "good previous days". the undeniable fact which you like it helps you to relish some thing in user-friendly terms for exciting and not meant to be taken heavily. It skill which you have impeccable style and which you have not got self assurance that your age ought to be certain what you watch even despite if this is meant for a youthful objective audience. As on your brother he's totally primary. Icarly and triumphant are the two good shows.with the help of how i'm in severe college and that i nonetheless savour icarly often times and the lads in my type nonetheless watch icarly and that they've been gazing it on condition that day one. this variety of shame that this variety of competent instruct have been given cancelled.

he should be in grade 6? well, it's actually nothing to worry about right now, because naruto is actually a show for teens (at least in japan, for it's violence) and pokemon games are quite fun. it's not that big a deal.

It's not abnormal, I watched cartoons up till I was in my 30's. It's no big deal, especially if it keeps him peaceful and happy. There's no exchange for a nowadays peaceful, kind, happy child. He'll step up in time, and then you can step with him, (Quietly)

i can see know problam with it. i watched power rangers when i was 14 years old and i turned out fine. if he really enjoys them it shouldn't matter what his friends think. tell him that if it makes him happy to play and watch those shows and games then that's what matters. besides, does he have to play them with his friends?

I LOVE cartoons! I'm 30 y.o. - not a weirdo -
If it brings him joy - let him do it. Let him know there is nothing "wrong" with him - help him keep his secret to himself until he is comfortable with others knowing.

It's alll good.

If that is what your kid likes and thats his personallity then yeah it is normal, he is just being himself. What you need to do is tell him that there is no need to be ashamed for who you are and what you like.
