There is a good yoga position, very easy. Lie on your back and bring your knees to your chest and hold there.

How To Pass Gas

You came to the wrong site for "medical answers." My Mom and Grandma (RIP) are gas experts, and my husband's a doctor. My best advice follows:
Can someone pound gently on your back? It frees the gas to travel toward the exit.
- Not trying to gross you out, but stretch the cheeks apart... .It helps, so does running if that isn't too painful for you.
- Breathe into a bag while lying on your left side in the fetal position. Rock your body a little and this will also help free the gas and provide relief from your groin cramping.
- Put one teaspoon BAKING SODA into 3 ounces of cold water. Stir well and drink it down in 40 seconds. Prepare to belch.
- If none of this works, head to your local pharmacy for Gas-X. The generic brand will do.
