I mean he's omnipotent,couldn't he have done something to help me???like give me a girlfriend????or a little homework help???or how about world peace????how come he hasn't done that???I think all this power is getting to His head.

God definaetly exists and is always listening toeverything that every humann being in this world has to say to him. The power is not getting to his head. If you are upset that you do not have a girlfriend, God has a plan for you to be single right now. He is not torturing you. The reason he has not done everything that you have requested could be as simple as the fact that there is so much more in store for you or that you have much more potential or deserve much better. Always trust in God, he will make everything work out, just as it should be.

God answers prayers. It may not be the answer you want or in the time you want, but He does.
Besides, you can't think of anything better to ask Him for than a girlfriend or homework help?? Come on now!

You are asking for a g/f, help with homework or do you want the answers to appear magically? Look my young friend God is listening to you all the time- he has a plan for you. You have a brain use it do get the answers to your homework problems-go to Church a little more often and join a group with others , maybe you will meet someone.World peace? things are going how they are supposed to go- right on track. Let me share a little story with you.
A girl who had no money to spare prayed to God to win the lottery. But that week, she didn't win. The next week, she promised she would never again sleep around. Still, she didn't win the lottery. The following week, she promised she would never curse, lie, or cheat anyone ever again. Once more, she didn't win. She prayed and prayed and promised to devote her life to helping others. But again, she didn't win. Finally, she went to church and cried out to God, asking why everything she was willing to give up wan't enough. And a huge, white light shone down on her, and she heard God's voice booming in her head, "Look, I'm doing all I can, but you have to go buy a ticket!!!"
So in answer to your question, God has already done the things to help you. He's given you a girlfriend, but you haven't asked her out yet. He's given you help for your homework, but you haven't put it to use. He's given us the way to world peace, but we've all been to dumb to listen and too concerned with worldly matters to put it to use. God is always listening, and always giving us all we need, but we don't notice because we focus on the things we want and not the things that really matter.

He is listening, but you don't want to hear what he has to say to you. He showing you hints and signs, but you still don't see or listen to what he is trying to tell you.
Do you think that having a girlfriend will take the place of God who has created you from the beginning.

Have you really prayed to Our God?
Did you pray with humility and grace?
Were you patience enough to say to God "If there is a girl who will love me... let it be THEE will and not MY will?"
You remind of Thomas (one of the disciple) who didn't believe that Jesus came. On the eighth days (after the first visit) Jesus came (in the flesh) and told Thomas to put his finger in the open wound and his hand on his side where they had speared him.
He told Thomas "You believe becasuse you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven't seen me and yet believe anyway."
For you to say that the power is getting to his head... you're completely wrong. You keep thinking that it is all about you and no one else, well let me surprise you.

What makes you think He is not listening?
Moreover, what is it that you are saying to Him?
God hears every prayer, even those never uttered. But you have free will. You have to go search for a girlfriend. You have to do your homework. You have to live your life, He will not do it for you.
As for world peace, same thing. We humans have to live with the consequences of our actions, which include dealing with things like war, famine, plague, and Barry Manalo albumns. It is a natural consequence of the fallen nature of our world.
But let me ask you this; you want Him to give and give and give. When was the last time you said "thank you" for what you do have?

Theres no way I can say all I want to on here, but feel free to email me with any questions Cow. I'm not gonna sit here and try to save your soul, God is something you need to find in your own heart. But look at it this way. Is there any animal out there as complex as the human being? Do any animals have the kind of love we do, do they feel the need to sing, or get touched by music. Do they question their exsistance or why they are here? No they don't, and thats because we are something far greater. To think we are just here like your pet fish is just here is kind of crazy. I understand how you feel. But try not to hold it against God. There will be times when he may seem like your only friend :) Sometimes things that seem like a curse end up being a blessing. When you get a little older, you'll understand what I mean.

you need more than god to get a girl to like you, you need a personality and A LIFE. and anyway there is no such thing as god. god is just a huge big lie made up by people who had a desire to stop people thinking for themselves, so my advice is stop asking god for help (because as i have already explained there is no god) turn of your computer, have a bath, brush your teeth and get out and meet people. in short OPEN YOUR EYES AND GET A LIFE
