Muslims and Christians should have no quarrels. Christians assisted the followers of the Prophet Mohammad in the early days of Islam. Mohammad respected the Christians and never forced them to join his faith. While Christians and Muslims fought a long crusade in the Middle Ages, the soldiers on both sides respected each other.
As a child I grew up in a mixed community of Muslims and Christians and we never had a problem; I attended a Catholic high school. I have more Christian friends than Islam.
In many countries in the Middle East, Christians and Muslims get along fine. The problem is not a religious one...generally the christians respect the Muslims..the real problem is with the growing gangs of Muslim Fanatics who won't be able to get along with even their own kind.

i comprehend that the Jesus determine suggested contained in the Quran in no way existed and the info backs it up. Muslims deny the crucifixion while Historians have mentioned if all of us comprehend something approximately Jesus it could be that he became crucified. they say he in no way shown that he became the son of god that's additionally fake because of the fact the rationalization he became crucified contained in the 1st place became because of the fact the Jews knew what he became asserting and that they theory it became blasphemy. Moses gave us standards of figuring out a faux prophet and Muhammad broke those policies. He further the Satanic verses which became his attempt to transform the folk of his tribe. He recognized the three Goddesses of the tribe and mentioned they have been the daughters of Allah. in a while he found out that he had merely preached polytheism which destroys each and every thing he had mentioned in the previous that, so he mentioned devil made him do it. the two standards Moses wrote mentioned that if somebody preaches approximately different gods or supplies a message claiming that's from God while that's not then they're a faux prophet. Muhammad broke the two between the policies. additionally if we've been think to have faith in yet another prophet that would come after Jesus the bible might have advised us so as that we'd be waiting to settle for him. however the bible says no longer something even even with the undeniable fact that Muhammad himself mentioned you will possibly discover him suggested contained in the bible. Muslims have had 1400 years to discover something stating him and that they have not been in a position to.

I am Christian, so I can only give you half of what you are looking for, but here goes.

Islam as a faith has a history of scholarship and preservation of knowledge that is very similar to the actions of the Catholic church in the middle ages. Both faiths did quite a bit to protect learning, and promote education and awareness as means to better understand God (Allah) and His creation.

In addition, Muslim Imams often allowed travelling missionaries of Christian faiths to use their mosques for services, as Christian priests and monks did for travelling Muslim clerics. In addition, there was a famous incident where Mohammed (all apologies to the Muslim faithful if I misspelled that, I have seen many spellings) was granted refuge from persecution in a Greek Orthodox shrine.

The antipathy and violence done in the name of both faiths is a situation that has repeated itself throughout history, but the true faithful on both sides have not promoted such acts, though in today's media, the muslim radicals that preach hatred get more airtime and attention for some reason.

The nicest thing they can say about their each others religion is that Jesus existed, they both agree on that. However, Christians believe that Jesus was the Son of God and Muslims believe he was not, they say he was a prophet.

Im shure we would like to , but at present, we do not draw from the same well , nor build from the same corner stone, and never will, untill we both fix our eyes on Christ (The Door, our Saviour,The Corner Stone, the Blessing), sitting there beside His Father, we will then look at each other in understanding and Love, and be at peace with our half brother, finilly at peace with each other ( after all these years since been sent away from Abraham ) in the one true life giving relationship with God-Through HIS one and only SON Jesus Christ.

I'm a Christian and I admire how faithful Muslims are to their religion. I respect the fact that they esteem Jesus. We don't agree on many things, but when we act in anger, neither group represents their foundational beliefs. Jesus says in the Bible to have love one to another and to judge not lest ye be judged. Sounds like a good idea to me. Peace=Salaam

Yes because muslims have alot of truth in thier quran. Plus they are very nice people(the real muslims). They are very philisophical. But I understand how it's hard it is to say nice things when their belief is that or holy book is corrupt and that jesus isn't divine. That is a big thing to say.
