I know this is not what you mean, but as the skin also takes in water - the answer is a definite yes. Just pour it over your feet and wait.. Actually taking it in via the mouth would be more difficult, but you might use a straw to get the water up from a glass and the rest is easy. Once swallowed, your body will transfer the water normally, though it might have a bit more difficulty doing so

Yes, perfectly possible.

The muscles which allow you to swallow do so by taking small 'gulps' of liquid (or chewed-up solid, come to that) and passing them down (or up, if you are upside-down!) via a series of waves along the whole digestive system - throat to, well, other end... :) This process is known as peristalsis.

The only problem is that if upside-down, then you don't have the help of gravity for that first 'push,' and it also feels unnatural to us (well, it is...). So it feels harder, but you are still quite capable of doing it. However, there is a greater chance of choking, especially on chewed solids, but since you are the wrong way up, you are in a good position for coughing anything back up again!

Not only water, your mussels in your throat are prepared to swallow even upside down, difficult is only to get it in your throat from your mouth, and not in your nose!
