From the info I've recieved the Mexicans stold the land from the Natives and then USA bought it from Mexico in a treaty. You need to learn your history before you go around making accusations!

Sorry, don't have an answer to your question since, illegal immigration has always been a problem in LA during my life here. And no, not every single problem in LA is attributed to illegal immigrants nor should it be.
BUT I had to respond to dianamanny if you don't mind:
No Natives were forced out of here, those that were here when CA was bought from Mexico after winning the war were immediately citizens. SO, no one was kicked out and called illegal. These ones you are referring to are the descendants of people who were SOUTH of the border after 1850.

LA, all of California and its surrounding state were a much better place before the native people were forced out and were called illegals. It's these illegal people that work the hardest in this country, they are humble and modest people. Why don't you do some reseach on how many non-illegal people commit crimes, how many of these people are on welfare and other government assistance.
Do you ever wonder why other countries dislike Americans so much? It's because of people like you. It's really a shame.

Let me rephrase...yes, I realize that the native Mexicans who lived in the US in 1850 where given amnesty, however most of them left because of the hatred and discrimination that people like you put them through.
You have no idea what these people go through to put those strawberries in your market, build that house that you live in, and so much more. the schools were not crowded there wasn't no traffic everything was in english it was normal now its a mess i hate even goiny to the store have to fight all this traffic there hanging out all in front of the store selling everything but there mothers its sickening .
