Most people aren't comfortable being alone because they think they have to have an audience for feedback. Once you figure it out that you have nothing to prove to anyone except yourself, then you will actually start assessing who you are,changing what you don't like and accepting what you cannot change.I used to think I could not be without a man in my life, and I came from a large family,and i married 6 times because of this.Once I started to get to know myself and I found out that I was an OK person,I actually began to prefer to be alone most of the time. All the empty spaces that I was filling with other people, I now fill with things I enjoy.

Seriously if you haven't find yourself fully, that would be a serious facter of this alone issue!! Once you know exaclty who YOU are, you wouldn't mind being by yourself when you have to be!!! Honest and truthful answer!! You have hobbies, and recognize your gifts, and you will live more in reality!! See basically all you have is your own self, because out love ones or close ones can vanish and when this happens you MUST realize that you are all you got when it boils down to it!! Its just more pleasure and a blessing to have someone else journey with you!!! But you must re assure you own self, no one else can do that, but you!! Find yourself!!

One is the loneliest number. It is so hard to be alone because of how we feel when we are alone. We feel lost, deprived, scared, but most of all, lonesome. We feel as though our entire world has crashed in on us, and we feel that our dreams are turning to ashes and our hopes into bits of clay. Being lonely just does not feel good to us. Being lonely makes us sad when we would rather be happy. So, therefore being alone is very hard for us to cope with.

because when you are alone you don't have anyone to share the burdens and joys of life with. and you feel like nobody, but your parents really love you. but, if you love yourself, being without someone is not so bad. sometimes you need to be alone to learn how to love yourself. when you love yourself you will find someone to love you for you and then you will no longer be alone.

Because you are not happy with yourself, maybe??? Sometimes I try to take time out to drown in my thoughts... You'd be surprised at what you can come up with and figure out. It can be interesting. I'm answering that assumeing that you are meaning "not havin' any company in general"... If you are meaning lonely "relationship wise" I'd say that it's because everyone loves to have someone there, that they know cares a lot about them, to talk to. It's human nature to want someone with you that has strong mutual feelings.I know that sounds lame, but it's what I like.
