I know a woman, she has been seeing a married man off and on for a year and a half. He has been telling her he is leaving his wife the whole time. How long till she realizes he is not going to leave her. This is making her sick with stress.

first of all, i feel terrible for the children who can get caught in the middle of a situation like this. obviously, a married man can't continue to keep his affair secret forever. upon the revelation of what a SCUMBAG he's been, things in the home will deteriorate probably beyond repair and any children in the home will be directly affected by something so sorted.
as for your lady friend, well it seems she will never learn and there may be no end to the lives she will ruin while falling for a simple lie over and over again. i don't mean to sound crass but maybe she deserves to be sick with stress.
of course, black magic may be needed to truly sort things out.

This is a very interesting question with an obvious answer. She will not 'learn' her lesson until he dumps her for another woman and even then she may not learn her 'lesson'.
You could tell her that a married man who cheats on his wife will end up cheating on her also, but that won't really help her. She can't be helped because she is in HUGE denial.
The more interesting aspect of your question is why you care about this one way or the other. Could it be that you are in love with the lady and don't want to see her suffer?

Okay first of all its wrong to do anything sexual with a person in a relationship, it hurts alot of innocent people including the man and women having the affair!!
Second this doesnt just apply to women it applies to men aswell!!
Now all this women needs right now is a friends to distract her and make her feel loved in a different more healthier way!! What she doesnt need is people telling her that its not going to happen she is going to have to learn from her own experiences not other people's!! It just like teenages when their parents say dont do this cause this is going to happen. Whats the first thing the teens do try it and learn from what has happened!! Just advise this women that what the man is doing to her and his wife is WRONG and that people do care about her, her happiness and her health!! Just be there for her thats the only thing you can do and when she gets out of this she will be wiser and stronger!!

She will never learn until he has finished using her. Even then she will not even see that way. Some women are just that way. It does not make them bad or even stupid. Just maybe in the way of relationships. If you are her friend keep being one for her and don't tell her I told you so when she finally realizes what he is all about.

If you are her friend, try to be there when it hits her. If you want to have a relationship with her, then take heed of this very same advise and don't spend time waitting for her to find out.

until she gets tired of the same old excuses. I dated a married man for a while and it was always they were having problems he wasnt happy but he wouldnt leave so i ended it after a few months. He still e mails me and tells me he misses me and he loves me but ive moved on to better things.

That's not smart, she needs to pull herself together and leave him, but I know how hard it can be. It may help her if you try to tell her how bad this is for her, and that you think the guy is not gonna leave, if she can understand that she needs to stop and that he's not her hero, she may get over him.

she is too insecure and pathetic to ever realise that she is a booty call. if he was going to leave his wife he would of. she deserves to be sick because she knows this man is married.
