How do I know? My wife LEGALLY immigrated to the US from Chile. She knew NOBODY in the US. When she came here, she didnt have her hand out for government aid. She got a job, a bachelors degree and now has almost completed her Masters.
She did this with NO help from the government.

So no, they lie when the give that horse sh*t excuse. Get this, Im married to a Latina but im opposed to illegal immigration so they call me a racist.

Other than the fact they are breaking the law my problem is that they are coming here because there country is so bad and all they are trying to do is turn the US into Mexico, why bother coming at all. That is just like people in the north that move south to retire because where they left was violent and full of crime then they want their families here that are causing the problems where they just left. They start groups from the states they are from and then try to turn my small town into what they hated. Makes no sense to me.

Obviously it is not true ... we do have immigration procedures that legal immigrants have to follow, to the letter ... however, it is probably true that most of those who have illegally wandered in over the border would not have been eligible for immigration, since our immigration laws state you have to have a background check, medical check and a sponsor to be considered for immigration ... all of which will have to be paid for ....

However, should a country set aside its own immigration laws to accommodate people who are not eligible for immigration? To anywhere?

We already have a guest worker program on our statute books, so what comprehensive solutions we have to discuss is beyond me ...
I can assure you that poor, ill educated people will not be allowed to immigrate to anywhere in the developed world, and are not according to our own laws allowed to immigrate here either ... so the question really is: why is our government setting aside its own laws to accommodate these people? Well, obviously the answer is .... business wants a permenent underclass to overwork and underpay ... and our administration which is bought and paid for by business has no other option but to do what they are told ... and to hell with the American tax payers ....

No evidence is required. If the only law they break is coming here illegally, it's not too bad provided they don't break any other law. Most of them are decent people. However, the ones who break the law and are illegal should be shot.

Did the europeans have a choice when they invaded the indians' land because they did not like their government. Why didn't they stay in Europe and fix their problems instead of running away ? Was murdering the indians to get their land breaking the law?

They could stay home and work hard at fixing the problems in their own country. Instead of running like cowards and being selfish. Yet another choice for them.
