As a proud owner of a true APBT-NOT a media hyped mongrel-That lives with one house cat and an English Bulldog-You have to watch Pits with other DOG breeds-Pits are fine generally with an opposite sex Pit, family cat and other pets, but always watch, and if possible keep a hold on your pit with other breeds and same sex Pits-It is just part of their heritage and nature to be terriotorial, and "watching" out for the better of their family-Even if it is another family dog-APBTs are far superior than other dog breeds and take a lot of care, socialization, and needs. As Tank ages you will notice stress lines in his face from all his worrying about YOU. Enjoy every minute with Tank and remember BAN THE DEED-NOT THE BREED!!! Try getting your other dogs spiked collars-Tank will learn quick not to bite-People need to remember spiked collars are function over fashion!!! ANY breed of dog should not be unsupervisored w/ANY other breeds, or humans!!! The first EVER face transplant was caused by a Lab!!!

He might be trying to establish 'top dog' position over your other dogs. But with my pit mix puppy (7 months old) whenever he gets too rough with me, I just sternly say 'no' and then pet him gently, and when he calms down, praise him. But when he gets crazy with my other pit (2 1/2 years old) because he's trying to be the alpha dog over her, I just let them go at it. As long as they're not hurting eachother, I let them fight it out.

Wow, you have opened a can of worms with this one. Be firm, stand your ground and make it very known who is boss, YOU!!!
Do not succumb to the naive people that give pit bulls their bad reputation.

it is very natural..my american bulldog does the same with my shitzsu/maltese.. its about the "top dog" . with him being a male pitt, it is his right to do that. when ur other dog figures that out, they wont fight. let them continue as long as theres no blood involved. if there is dont panic just separate them and supervise them under your watch and the dogs will stop..but dont worry your pitt loves ur other dog. its jus instinct,,,,,,,,he wont do it to be vicious

Correct it by giving it a harsh no when you think it's too rough and seperate them.
Crate train the puppy & give it crate time (time out) when needed.

Maybe you should take it to training or give it a harsh look or saying "no!" and breaking it up. hope it helps!
