What you need to do is the best that you can. There are always going to be things that someone else can do better than you. There will always be things that you're better at than most. It's the way life works. Don't try to compete with your sister. Just enjoy swimming and do the best you can. Don't you dare quit! And don't bother talking to anyone about how you feel. Go on with the program and, in time, there'll be something else you find that will TOTALLY take your mind off what's going on now!

It is hard when we compare ourselves to our siblings. Still, you seem to know that you each excel at some stuff, but swimming in particular is a problem. Maybe if you swim in different events? What if you do backstroke or butterfly and she can do crawl or whatever? This way you can both swim and have a chance of being the best in your own event.
If that won't work, then it seems like you will just have to give up swimming. It is not fair to ask her or the team to ask her to quit - particularly if she is that good. Put it behind you and try something new.
Peace!

I take it which you're attempting to connect your extreme college team. In my area all swimmers that prefer to connect are in a position to. That besides the indisputable fact that does no longer mean which you will compete on the school point. the biggest advertising element to make to the instructor is your decision to help the team in any way you are able to. this could be by your great physique of ideas in prepare for the duration of those long instruments or by doing a journey like the 5 hundred loose to %. up some factors for the team. Like somebody mentioned in the previous me cases for the main area are bull while turning out to be a member of a sparkling team. you have the aptitude to develop a great deal user-friendly from training greater and from new practise. good success with what ever you finally end up doing.

Just keep practicing your strokes and competing. It doesn't matter if your sister is faster because all people are different. Anyway, she might be in a growth spurt right now and whenever you get your growth spurt it might make you faster at that time.
If you like swimming, stay with it.'

There is nothing wrong with being on the same team as your sister. There is a song called "anything you can do, I can do better"...
Just because she is better than you doesn't mean that you can't have fun, and do it anyway.
As for those snide comments from everyone else, just say "yep, she learned from me".

So do something else. This is sibling rivalry and will be a source of friction, so remove the cause and do something different.
