met this really cool guy the other day. he's cute, and we totally clicked. the sucky part is he lives 3 hours away, he came where i live visiting relatives. we hung out for a long time and kissed a little, but it was pretty casual. he's so sweet and PERFECT. before he had to go home.. he told me he was getting his drivers liscense in a few months and that we should meet each other again soon. ): i didn't know he was 16! i'm only 14... and apparently he thinks i am 16 and already have my liscense. how do i tell him? i don't want him to stop talking to me! would you stop talking to me if you were him?

be honest with him, if you guys do have a connection then he should be OK with it, and if he isn't then hes not the cute guy you think he is, one thing is for certain if your not honest it could lead to disaster

The best step for you to take is to tell him the truth. If he really wants to become friends, or maybe even more you need to be truthful from the start. Two years isn't that big of an age difference, so stop freeking out. Just tell him that you two had a misunderstanding and that you want to strighten it out right from the beginning before things go to far. If he's serious about you then he'll listen and stick around.

I haven't been a teen in a long time but I don't think 2 years is a big difference. I would tell him next time it comes up and tell him you were afraid to tell him when you realized how old he thought you were.
It should be fine and if it isn't then he probably wasn't the most understanding guy and you probably did yourself a favor finding out early.

just say this:umm theres sumthing i have to tell you well u might think this is no big deal but i am a lil younger and i lied and said that i was 16 and umm im sorry do u forgive me! and if he says no well be prepared for the next bf and if he can still trust u by then than break up with the other than go out with him again

Do you really want to start your relationship off with a lie? Just tell him, he should ok about it. Its not like hes 18 or anything. And no, I wouldnt stop talking to somebody just because they told me they were younger than me(except if they were under 18 since I am). However, I WOULD stop talking to somebody that didn't tell me their real age.

Just let him know, if he cares and gets mad saying you lied to him and stops talking to you, hes a jerk and doesnt deserve you. if that happens it wasnt meant to be maybe cause hes a player or maybe he would be abusive so if he stops talking to you then it was not meant to be and you will be beter with some one else.

you should tell him now instead of being scared and hiding it because if u do hide it he will probably be mad that u didn't tell him from the jump otherwise 2 years is nothing girl.
