firing order is 1-3-4-2 CCW
To avoid confusion, spark plug wires should be replaced one at a time. The firing order for all 4-cylinder engines is 1-3-4-2. The No. 1 spark plug is always located closest to the front of the engine (water pump or timing belt assembly). The distributor tower terminal cap usually is marked for the No. 1 location.
