God is Love! He defines what it truly means to love! He is patient and kind towards us! He is also fair when he disciplines us! But most importantly He sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sins! If that is not love than I do not know what is!

God is love. Love is laying your life down for someone else. Read Song of Solomon 8:6-7, 1 Corn. 13;1-13 1 Jn.2:7-8 John 3:16, Love is two simple reasons. To help us love God, and to love others as God loves us. Love is denying self, and taking care of some one else. Love don't argue, it doesn't envy, is not puffed up.

You know your in love when everything about him amazes you, from the way he always knows how to make you laugh, to the way he make your life worthwhile. whenever you're together, all your worries disappear. when everything around you gets blurry, and in an instant its just you and him.when this feeling inside you is the greatest feeling ever, and without him by your side your lost. when your love for each other is so strong, that you want it to last forever. When it's Love you know in your heart, body and soul that its Love... "Love is giving someone the ability to hurt you.... but trusting them not to" I hope I was of some help sweetie...just take it slow..don't rush it and enjoy every minute of it!!!! Good Luck

I agree with the verse from the Bible describing what love is that has already been quoted above. And also as another way to explain it...
Love is the way of give, the giving of kindness and caring for the welfare of others. It's not selfish or greedy or the "get" way of life.

The qualities of love are expressed in I Corinthians 13. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy or boast; it is not proud. It is not rude nor self-seeking. It is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in with the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres. Love never fails. Of faith, hope and love, love is the greatest.

this bible verse is exactly what love is...(one of my favorites BTW)
Corrinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong doing. Love does not rejoice in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

Love is fire that burns without being seen, love is pain that hurts and makes happy, love is sacrificing yourself for the one you love, love is breading a child and watch it the for the first time breathing.
Love...is in you
Love.... is in me
love is in all of us
God is love
God bless you

Love is an intense feeling of concern and care for another. Love in action is when you go without or sacrifice your own time, comfort, and/or desires for anothers sake.
