The idolizing of Individuals should be a sin for all. When we do this we willing lower our own self worth, and that's not a good thing. I agree with you in that Islam being the youngest branch of Abrahmic religions is the most outwardly vigorous and powerful at this time. No one should be ostracized and or harmed merely for their opinion.
