To supply tissue for future repairs? Wouldn't that resolve the "ethical problems"?

Apparently , Myrna (who I assume is a GIRL, ironically) is the only person who understood the question, LOL!

Well, there's the answer to "What should I do with this foreskin, doctor?"

Now what do we do with the girls?? Hmmm.

To the first poster>> what is has to do with religion is the fact that your President has outlawed stem cell research BASED UPON HIS RELIGIOUS BELEIFS, and then gives the old "ethical dilemma" excuse......

If you want to resolve the ethical dilemma, simply pray that all of God's beleivers shall be affected by cancers and hodgkins disease and Parkinsons. THat way, when it comes time to vote in the future, those in power might actually have a reason to vote YES.

If you are looking for an easily attainable source of stem cells, then it is unnecessary to mangle or amputate any part of any newborn child. The umbilical cord and placenta are chock full of stem cells, yet are routinely thrown away in the garbage. Why are we talking about "harvesting" human beings for stem cell research, when there is an endless supply going in the trash can all the time?

If you are NOT talking about stem cells, I have no idea how to answer your question, other than "NO!"

when I was 7 days old they chopped my foreskin off. I don't think it was saved for anything. It was a religious thing

Actually, I believe that you can get these cells from their umbilical cord. No infant chopping necessary.

Chopping is much different than slicing or nicking or sluicing - chopping is scary. Start over with this question please. Ethics has NOTHING to do with CHOPPING.

Only if the baby gives an OK.

This was done as ""A Sign"" in the O.T.
