I think they call going to doctors a lack of faith, but I could be wrong?

Correction on the Jehovah's Witnesses. They do go to doctors, but they just don't accept blood transfusions.

I've heard Christian Scientists are the ones who don't.
The Amish also have an aversion to medical practise within the institution, but will go to doctors on rare occassions. A lot of Amish have trouble getting emegency medical treatment because they were delivered by midwives and have no birth certificates.

I agree. If people really believed in a god that was all powerful and all wise, and only had people die when he wanted them to die, surely they would have enough faith in god's will to refuse treatment from an earthly source. If anyone wants to email me and tell me exactly why they believe in getting medical treatment, please do, I would like to hear the reasoning behind this. Also, to anyone that chooses to reply to me, would you be upset if a child died because their religious parents wouldn't take them to the doctor, believing what I stated above? Why or why not please, and the reasoning behind your decision.

Scientology sounds right to me. Did you know the root word in hebrew (maybe it was greek, anyways) for the word sorcery is pharmacea (probably misspelled) where we get our root pharma or drug. Not illegal drug, but just drug. Something to ponder for us christians.

Jehovas can't take blood transfusions I've read. Crazy, how important is their life if they don't want to save it?
