...judging from your answers... 'do you know what evil is?' 'That could equally be implied to evolution.' I'm guessing...nO?

Yes Steve N. very good example. (also let it be known that fossils are not dated by that means rather by carbon 14 tests that can determine, by how much carbon, how old an onject it.)

it could also be used as in
Me: 'why do you believe in god.'
christian: Because I have faith
Me: why do you have faith.
Christian: Because god exists.

Petitio principii. When you state your claim and then you state it again as your reason. Evolutionists use it a lot.
Their theories are like putting several rocks and a handful of sand into a paper sack, throwing a little water, zapping it with lightening and shaking the entire conglomeration like crazy...then finding that the sand had turned to glass and the rocks into metal. Then, after some time passes, Lo and Behold! The metal has formed gears, and the glass a watch face. The whole thing came together all by itself, managed to fabricate two little hands and started ticking. TaDa! A watch!
(Just at the watch needs a watchmaker, so do we, as magnificent, intricate human beings, need a Creator. Oh.. by the way, Science and the Bible are not mutually exclusive.)

faith and atheism is in accordance with faith which does no longer contain good judgment. faith isn't some thing we are able to fairly argue approximately at this factor besides the fact that i've got faith at last the actuality would be available to anybody by technology. it won't have the ability to shown as actual or fake in spite of what you're saying. settle on what you have faith and end there. there is no factor after that. Arguments are a waste of time and creates a stereotype of the different part for the human beings in touch. Be accepting and basically leave one yet another on my own.

elmo the stoner,
Let me show you:
There is no God. There is no God because believing in God, one would have to admit to miracles. Since there cannot ever be a miracle, anyone reporting that there was a miracle is either a liar, drugged, or some kind of nut, Because there can't be any miracles. Because there's no God. And since there is no God there cannot be any miracles. And if there aren't any miracles, it would prove that there is no God. And there can't be a God, because that would mean that miracles could happen, and I just know that there cannot be miracles because there is no God.
There you go. That's you.
EDIT:
That's not it at all. Of course, someone who is a freakin' born expert would think that he's right by being born. You don't know what Christians like me would say to your premise, and lame attempt at exegesis.
EDIT II:
Just go smoke your s#!+ and don't worry, be happy.

Just a bit of info for future reference, Elmo... Carbon-14 dating is only good up to about 40,000 years. Older than that, they use other radiometric dating methods. I can't remember what isotopes... you can look it up, if you're interested.

Yes, I do. But...where is it implied?
The Bible is actually a compilation of 66 books written by 40 or so different authors, living in varied times and cultures over a period of about 2000 years. Now, knowing that as empirical data...what's your arguement about circular thinking?

No offense Elmo, but are you stoned again?? If they knew and understood what circular reasoning was, they would be able to see how it has been applied to their Bible. But they beleive in it, so they cannot know nor understand.......
Put the pipe down and back away slowly bro......lemme hit that thing and get on your level!

This fossil is 1 million years old because it was found in a sediment that's 1 million year old. We know the sediment is 1 million years old because we found a 1 million year old fossil in it?

Yes, I understand it. It is basing two conclusions on each other, thus supporting your argument in a fallacious way.

example: we date the fossils from the layers of dirt they are found in. we date the layers of earth by the fossils we find in them.
circular reasoning is using one statement to prove another statement that is used to prove the first statement.
