It would depend on the personality and parenting style of the preacher. I have an atheist friend who's parents are about as religious as they come, but she has always been an atheist, and isn't very rebellious, so I can't say her beliefs are just meant as a rebellion. I imagine though that sometimes having very religious parents just shows the child how ridiculous religion can be.

Not only preacher's kids but also Deacon's kids. There is so much expected of them. They are just like you and me. They make mistakes like the rest of us. We just hold them to a higher standard.\, and when they don't fit that profile then we start condemning them. We have no right to do that.

YES; my grandmother used to say " preachers and teachers have the worst children.

sometimes i think they do because i knew two preachers and there kids had kids like at 16yr.old, but not always.
