I don't like it when my children fight and we sure give Him some headaches so to speak wouldn't you say?

LOL true story about His infinite patience. If He wasn't so much so we would definitely be long since destroyed.

Oh I think our bickering gives Him headaches. Worse, I think it saddens Him.

Same as any father who watches his children bickering.Add on to the fact that His children are not just throwing insults, but fists, rocks, bullets... His children are killing each other.

I believe that God is very sad for His children.

But, then again, I think God can be very proud of his children too.
Like any father who watches his children help build a house for the homeless, or drops the last of their allowence in the "feed the hungry" can at the supermarket.
Same as a father feels his heart swell when he walks his daughter down the isle, or holds his first, beautiful grandchild.
When his children stop on the side of the road to help a stranded motorist, or plant a baby tree...
When his children play a friendly game of ball and both, winner and loser, smile, laugh, and shake hands at the end...
When his children sit at a table to discuss all the reasons they should stop killing each other...
When his children stand up and say "Hey! That's not right!"...
When his children study hard and bring home a good grade...
When his children look up at him from their beds and whisper "I love you."...

I believe that God, our Heavenly Father, every now and again wants to whack us on the back side with a lightening bolt.
But I also believe that God, our Heavenly Father, loves His children and feels the joys and pride that ever father feels.

Anyway, my personal P.O.V.

Yes he does. We murmur all the time but he still takes care of us.

II Chronicles 7:14 says - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.

Psalms 1:33 vs 1 - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.

If we stop murmuring and come together, one must speak and the other listen. We can sing together but we can not talk together. Humble yourself and be patient.

Why Jesus might desire to have died to maintain everybody from sins. those ideals will lead you to no the place. it fairly is not a stable thought to declare that he/she has already been forgiven of their sins through fact of Jesus. this form of license might create chaos in this worldwide. No different faith teaches this thought. fairly he became someone who became born out of the womb of a women human beings. He became an appointed guy or woman, a prophet of God, sent to tutor human beings the thank you to be the 'son' of God. The word 'son' is a non secular parable which potential the 'dedicated one'. each and every physique in this worldwide has to stand the Judgement Day whilst God will punish or reward the human beings for thec deeds they complete in this worldwide. the main considerable objective of religion is to boost a civilised society interior the worldwide so as that bloodshed and wars are eradicated and everybody lives precise with the neighbours.

Yes, I can't believe how patient God is! If I were Him, I would've blown the earth to pieces a looonnggg time ago! Thankfully, Jesus only had to die once for our sins. He never has to go through that again. But, that doesn't mean it's okay to sin. God is forgiving of everything, but only if we are truly sorry. God just wants us all to love eachother and get along, but He would never force us to do that. He wants us to be happy, and knows the only ways we will truly be happy.

I don't think God is a sentient being, and is so beyond our understanding that I try not to have firm beliefs on the nature and existence of God, even though I have faith there is something. For such a God to care about one infinitesimal species in the billions of galaxies is strange; God would not notice because there is nothing to notice-God is always present.

Something like that.

I love it...what a great mental picture, God putting His eyes to the ceiling in frustration at our idiocy and arguments!!!

I don't think that He does, though. He is perfect patience...every time I compare the frustration that I sometimes feel with those children (and adults) in my care, 1 Cor. 13 sets me straight. In that whole chapter, I don't see impatience, frustration or temper.

Just His perfect, patient care for me...thank you for your Word, God!!!

amen. i think the scriptures put it so clearly. so that is how i will answer you, because we do get so much, of people just slinging their own words around which i think is very sad when this could be used as such a wonderful tool to encourage fellow believers, or to witness to others, or to just let gods light shine in everything we do. is it any wonder people want to steer clear of christians. this religion and spirituality site could be one of edcucation or better yet each of us compelling each other about how god is carrying us throughout our day. how he gives us strength and joy . about the miracles in our lives. where is this stuff. its more like a bunch of vultures waiting for something to pouce on. christ said you would know them by the love.. anyway
Colossians 3:8now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicsious behaviour, dirty language. don't lie to each other, you have stripped off your old evil nature and all its wicked deeds. in its place you have clothed yourselves with a brand new nature that is continually being renewed as you learn more and more about christ, who created a new nature in you.in this new life it doesnt matter if you are a jew a gentile, circumcised, or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave or free. christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us
since god chose you to be the holy people whim he loves you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. you must make allowance for the other persons faults and forgive the person who offends you. remember the lord forgave you. so you must forgive others.and the most important piece of clothing you can wear is love, love is what binds it all together in perfect harmony. and let the peace that comes from christ rule in your in your hearts. for as members of one body you are all called to live in peace. and always be thankful.
let the words of christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts and make you wise. use his words to teach and counsel each other. sing psams and hymns and spiritual songs to god with thankful hearts. and whatever you say or do, let it be as a representative of the lord jesus, all the while giving thanks to him through god the father.

Does anyone but me see the hypocrisy in this question?

Assuming God created all: past, present and future; and knows all, how could bickering cause her to become tired? It's already been created!

Yes, and he's especially tired of all these phony worshippers who worship high-living more than anything. The church is nothing compared to real, sincere brotherly love. Oh, and he's also tired of getting credit for everything.

Yeah... but remember, our problems are the Lords problems. He can handle all the bickering as long as you continue to have faith in him.
