My 22 mo. old granddaughter does an identical undertaking. My daughter bought her some great female panties and places them on over the diapers, this helped alot, additionally she rewards for everytime that Alieah sits on the potty and is going, many times with a lovable little sticky label of a few sort. the only undertaking we are engaged on now, is that infant will pass #2 on potty, yet no longer #a million, whilst she is waiting, she would have the ability to get the carry close of it. basically carry close in there.

get one of those pottys that make noise when you pretned to flush and put it in the bathroom. Take her to the washroom with her and maybe in time she will investigaste it and enjoy sitting on it. If it is a new one, then it's even better. Also, it is too early to actually start potty training, you should wait until at least 2. However it is essential that they start to understand the potty and what it is for. I am a nanny and this has worked for me. If she really hates diapers, then don't put them on and when she feels herself wet then she may want them back. You could also try buying one of those seats that sits on the toilet itself and maybe she will like that more. Just don't force her to sit on the potty, or it will just backfire and makes things difficult in the future when you are really ready to potty train.

typically thats young for potty training. i didn't start my son until 2 1/2 but my daughter now 2 at 18 months would take off her diaper the second she would pee or worse poop and drop it on the floor. she wasn't fond of the pot at first either. i placed the potty next to the coffee table one day during Dora her fav. show and then i placed a snack on the table. she was already half naked from a dropped diaper an hr ago and i swore to myself that would be the last pile of poop dropped on the carpet.she sat down without even thinking about it. this became her special chair. eventually she peed without thinking and i made a huge to do out of it. week after week i would move the potty towards the bathroom. now she is 2 and potty trained. the trick is not to push the issue but to praise it and to be patient and consistent. Good luck and i hope this helps or at least gives you some support.

let her go without anything just underwear for a few days and she'll feel so uncomfortable she'll use the potty. I found padded underwear for my son that soaked up most of the pee, but besides that I was prepared for messes and is not concerned about our furniture too much and we have wood flooring not carpet. So if you are willing to deal with the mess a few days it is worth it.

My 20 year old would gladly sit on the toilet when she was 19 mo. for a Jelly Belly. She was my easy one. If she knew the jelly bean was involved, she would run to her potty. It worked great and it only took her 2 weeks. Good luck to you!

How do you know she hates diapers? Perhaps she doesn't like wet diapers? She doesn't want to sit on the potty because she's not ready to. I suggest you continue changing her wet poppy diapers when they are wet and/or poopy that way she won't "hate" them then when she is ready she will let you know that she wants to sit on the potty.

She may not be ready yet. Most 19 month olds aren't ready for potty training. Don't push her yet if she's not ready.
