maybe you're sleeping over your arm without noticing

that's because you are putting pressure on your left arm. it might be a bit disconcerting to find your arm without feeling, almost like a dead part of your body. try sleeping on your back, or if you have to sleep on your side, extend your left one out.

i've had this happen to me once, and let me tell you, it felt weird.

Is it more on the underside, going down to your pinky? If so, it may be that your ulner nerve is irritated. Try not bending your arm too much when you sleep.

Im not a doctor, this is not medical advice.

You need to go to the doctor. One of my friends parents had this problem and it was something to do with the circulation of blood. I'm not sure if it is serious but you definitely need to see the doctor.
