Multiple Scoliosis?

My family and I are taking in a cousin who is 17 and was just recently diagnoised with multiple scoliosis. I was wondering exactly what kind of challenges we are going to face and if there are any where that I can get pamplets on the disease for my mother..

I am truly sorry to hear your cousin was diagnised with this disease. It depends on what kind of MS your cousin has. If your cousin has remitting/relasping MS, then there can be times he/she can get a relapse which makes your body go numb sometimes the leg, sometimes the arms, and sometimes getting the relapse getting over it may be a few weeks or more. With progressive MS it is different and more serious. With progeressive MS getting a flare up/relapse may not get better and may end up in a wheelchair or bedridden. It is hard to say, each person is different but that is what my neurologist told me. I was diagnosed in 2004 with remitting relapsing MS.
