I still love him, and think of him every day. I haven't talked to him in about six months. He still loves me too. He has been texting and leaving voice messages for me this whole time. But I can't be with him, because of all the drama from when we dated the first time.
I'm seeing someone else now, but I can't stop thinking about him... What should I do?

Sounds to me like you guys are going to get into the "love tango". The "love tango" is this: He's been wanting you because you're unavailable. When you start talking to him he's going to think, "eh..."....because he'll be done with the chase. In this case, I say there's an 86% chance that you'll get back together and then break up again. Then he'll move on before you. Then YOU'LL be the one texting and leaving voice messages. You'll end up together one more time, and you'll think "eh...", because again, the chase will be over. Then you'll both go your separate ways. SO.....why waste all that time. Make the best of what you have now....you may regret letting it go.

Aww your question is not stupid, because believe me, I've been through a situation very similar to yours. It all depends on how you feel about the situation you're in. My ex started texting me, leaving me voicemails, wanting to go out and stuff like that. I was talking to someone at the time as well. My ex broke up with me after five years, and it was terrible, how things went down. I cried uncontrollably and thought I would never have the strength or courage to move on without him in my life. I found someone who helped me through the hard times (ironically, the guy I'm talking to now, we grew up next door to each other and have been friends since we were kids), and we got closer, especially with him being in the military (he's a Marine). My ex, of course, wants to come back into the picture, but I had to decide whether I wanted to start something new and possible even more wonderful with my current beau, or try again with my ex, not really knowing what could happen, or if the breakup could happen all over again. Only you can decide which one you want to do----stay with your current beau, or try it again with your ex. Don't let anyone tell you that you're crazy if you do decide to go back with your ex, because it's your decision, and a chance that you want to take. Hope everything works out for you, and I hope that you have happiness with whoever you choose to be with :)

Change your number. Cut all ties with him. You wouldn't want to deal with all that drama crap again. When you completely cut the strings with him then you will be able to forget him and not think of him like you do! If this other guy is good to you then stay with him. But I wouldn't take your ex back if you parted on bad terms over something you can't forget.

Leave the past in the past. It is normal to still have feelings for someone after a break up. It is especially difficult when the person keeps coming around. Remember why you broke up with him, it was a good reason, and leave the past where it is.

it depends on what kind of drama it is you had.
If it is something you can get over, then try to let it go so you can start again from a clean slate. If not, then why bother dragging on the drama? You're not giving your current one a fair chance.

I think you already know what you should do.
I mean why be with someone else if your not totally in to it.
Give it a second try with him.. maybe all that drama was a lesson learned, and wont be a problem next time around.

Every time a thought of him enters your mind, think of your current boyfriend or anything else. Also, remember that your relationship ended for valid reasons. Current fantasies are based on what you wanted, not what you had with him.
