How to Make a Great First Impression on a Date
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Want to make sure your date will be eager to go out with you a second time? No problem.
Steps:
1. Dress attractively but comfortably. Don't wear clothes that make you feel stiff or self-conscious.
2. Be aware of your posture - it speaks volumes about you. You want to appear alert and confident by sitting up straight.
3. Compliment your date. Don't just say 'I like your shirt.' Be sincere and notice something that he or she took time with.
4. Learn to flirt (see "eHow to Flirt') and try it out. Don't overdo it, though.
5. Realize that you don't have to tell people how great you are. It's better to show them instead.
6. Be interested and interesting. Listen actively to what your date says. Ask questions and don't interrupt.
7. Enjoy yourself, no matter what. If you're easygoing and fun to be around and if you can roll with whatever comes your way, you can't help but make a great impression.
8. Thank the other person for the date - always, without exception. Good manners will get you far.
Tips:
Don't talk about anything negative or complain on a first date.
Be cautious about drinking - it will give you a false sense of confidence and your inhibitions will be lowered. You may say or do things you'll regret later.

I think being yourself is most important. Instead of going to a restaurant, try a picnic. A nice walk in the park, if you have a pet, walk it - breaks the ice a little. If going to a restaurant, make sure it's not "breaking the wallet" type. No-one that I've ever known has been comfortable with that situation on a first date. Alcohol should be avoided. Be careful & have fun!!

You should treat each other like friends. Some people move too fast, and nobody likes a date that moves too slow. Talk about sex if it comes up... just don't do it. Touch each other periodically, a grab of the hand or arm or a hand on the shoulder for 5 seconds or less... no more.

Ask the female what kind of food she likes! Then you both make a decision on the restaurant.
After dinner should be a movie. Drive her to the movie theater and let her pick a movie she would like to watch with you.
After the movie you should take the female to her residential place and ask for her phone number!
Let her know when she could expect your phone call!

Are you going to Mr. A's, or to JBX? This all depends, and on the person you are meeting as well. Never too good to get too personal, but then again, always "fluff" your answers if you like the person to make you sound more interesting.

Be yourself and be on your best behavior. Let her know in advance where you are going so she dresses appropriately. Let her decide if you are to kiss goodnight or shake hands.
