im 16, im a junior and i sit next to this girl, i hardly know her, and we didn't really talk much but she's 18 and a senior, and her friends say she has a crush on me, should i ask her? or keep wondering?

Go for it! When you're 35, are you going to be kicking yourself because you never asked, or because she said no, and maybe laughed a bit? Who knows, maybe it's true, and you'll be looking at her when you're 35 and think, "why did I listen to that idiot on the internet?" ;-)

If you like her try talking to her. You'll never know until you try. You don't have to come out and ask if the rumors are true. It may embarrass her and you too. Just talk to her and see what happens.

I highly doubt it. Older girls do not go for younger men until they are way out of college. Save yourself from being humiliated because that is what her friends want. If she likes you she will let you know.
