Is it important to be confident when asking a girl out?

I mean, when you are talking to a girl....or whatever. Shyness is bad right?

Absolutely, confidence is the key. If you come to talk to a girl being all shy she will not even listen to a word you say. But you if talk to her with confidence, you are polite and say nice things you are IN her world for sure.

some girls find shyness cute, but some girls hate it, it depends what kind of girl the girl is.. personally i like shy guys

I think shy guys are cute, too. I'd much rather have a guy who's a little unsure of himself, because I can imagine how tough it is for him to talk to me. Plus, I must be special if he's willing to put himself out there for me, even though he's shy.

Confidence is OK, as long as it doesn't come across as too cocky and arrogant. I really don't like arrogant boys.

shyness isn't always bad but if you're asking her out you have to be confident so she knows that you're serious about wanting to go out with her and not just joking around.
