I think its a nice name. You could call him Eli for short.
Although it reminds me of petes dragon for some reason.

I'm sorry i associate it with goofy comedian Chris Elliot, and the kid from E.T., i wouldn't tell people what you are thinking about naming your baby, it may ruin it for you, and it's more exiting after baby is born..

I happen to love it. I'm pretty sure that is what I am going with if I have a girl. I like it for a boy too.

well..it kinda sounds like a whimpy name for a kid that might get beat up..but i swear i am not being hurtful of evil! Try a rare name..like hm....well..do u have a second name picked out..and are u going to have a child?

not the name i would choose for my child but if you really like it then i think you should go for it. it's rude how people just tell you and other people who ask these kinds of questiong ,"DON'T NAME HIM THAT!" If you like it, that's all that matters :)
