NO, it exposes her to many germs and that isn't healthy for anyone especially a little one who has no immunities yet. You're the mommy so put a limit on who holds her and when. And make sure everyone washes their hands first!

That's fine, its very healthy for the baby and the family to bond physically and emotionally. It is healthy socially for the baby as well. The lady who talked about washing hands is on crack, your baby will be fine and probably healthier in the long run without having everyone who touches it sanitize their hands first. After all you can't build an immunity to something if your not exposed to it in the first place.
Obviously if the baby is unhappy being moved around, then it should sleep or go to mom, but most babies like the interaction.

If she's not fussing & it isn't her scheduled nap/feeding/diaper change it's fine. Even good as babies like to be touched, held (in a healthy manner). Helps the bonding process & emotional adjustment for her future. Doesn't matter who holds the baby as long as they are nurturing, & careful to a degree.
P.S.- They've done studies on babies/infants in orphanages, who recieve little to no touching & being held, it changes these kids emotionally to become withdrawn, insecure, quiet people.

Its good to let baby interact with different people, that way they are less likely to have seperation anxiety when they get older. Just make sure everyone washes their hands before touching the baby and do not let anyone around that has a cold or other illness or has been around anyone who is sick.

on a daily basis??? She may become more irritable try doing it gradually as to not make her fussy but yes introduce her to all ur family so if they ever have to watch her, she will be acquainted with them and not frightened. If someone does have a cold or the flu I would not let them hold her though. Enjoy your time with her and Congrats on having a wonderful addition to ur family

Keep on passing her, When my kids were newborns we walked into church and handed them off on the way out we got them back. The kids get to see all different kinds of faces and people and most responsible adults wont want to hold the kid if they are sick

Yes! It will help build her self-confidence and trust in people. It, too, will help for stranger anxiety when your baby gets to that stage which is 10 - 18 months.
My baby is pretty much isolated to just me and my husband, so we now have her daycare and play group. It's helped her so much!

Of course it is. She will grow up knowing she has a family who love and care for her. If it is that big, there will soon be another one to take her place.
Don't worry about all these paranoids who will tell you how many diseases she will catch. She won't.

it is, she gets the interaction which will help her develop different communication skills when she is older. it will also make it easier for you to leave her with a babysitter when you need to go out because she will be used to being around other ppl other then yourself. but what i learned in my sociology class is that they pick up on the communication skills. but the being around ppl will make it easier to leave her with babysitters is from experience.
hope this helps

Why not? I think it's good for babies to get as much social interaction as possible, it may actually help her mentally and emotionally mature faster.
