You can freeze them. Just boil some water and lightly score the tomatoes with a sharp knife and then pour the boiling water over the tomatoes. That will make the peeling of them easy. You want to peel them because the skin will not be good in recipies. Then put them in a zip lock bag and freeze them. You can also can them but that requires a lot more work and money. Good Luck!

in case you do not prefer to can in any respect, then freeze them entire. it is going to take alot of freezer area notwithstanding. once you've the prefer to make some thing, take out the right length bag, blanch or somewhat boil the frozen tomatos and then the floor will slide actual off. they are going to be extremely comfortable because of the freezing yet will be able to be cooked down into sauces, salsas or soups. i have had tomatos frozen for a year and a 0.5 and it made great sauce and salsa.

When I put up my tomatoes, I do it three different ways. I can some, freeze some, and dry some. Along with just eating them. I also make juice and catsup, which I can in pint jars. If you want to know how to do any of these things, just e-mail me. I hope this helps.

I just did this yesterday.
I heat water to a boil, then take the stems off the tomatoes.
Place tomatoes in the boiling water for 2 -3 minutes.
Place on a plate to cool slightly. Peel and cut up to size you want.
Place in freezer bags and freeze.
Does she grow them organically?

You can dehydrate them or put them in mason jars also known as canning, just do a little research on it, I can lots of tomatoes and it works well especially if you like salsa.

old fashioned canning works best - either whole, diced or as juice!
