Yes, just because you have cooked them doesn't mean that they can be kept out on the counter. Make sure to keep your hard boiled eggs refrigerated!!!

An egg's shell is actually porous.

Think about it, the developing chick inside needs to breathe, right?

After the egg is boiled, the naturally occuring anti-bacterial agents were destroyed leaving the protiens inside vulnerable to bacterial invasion.

So refrigerate after boiling.

Don't know, doubt they'd last very long, but at the grocery store I've seen displays of eggs out in the aisle, not cooled. Needless to say, I bought the ones in the cooler lol.....

Positively, one hundred percent! Do you put deviled eggs or egg salad in the fridge...yes. Stay safe, nobody wants food poisoning.
