You mean are you physically capable of it? Of course you are. 55 isn't old anymore. But usually the 55 year old is accompanied by a spouse, and sometimes by grandchildren, sometimes by other 55-year old friends. Some people as old as 60 even travel by themselves....

It's possible, but I would seriously consider someone going along. If you have to travel alone, always carry a cell-phone, and if you're driving , bring a form of personal protection.

Yeah, if you know how to spell. Anyone can travel alone. Even like 6-year-olds can travel alone.

no. if your in good health condition then i think it would be ok to do so. my grandparents are both in their 70s and they travel!! but then again, they are tgether, not by themselves.
