does anybody know where i can find a good cow tounge recipe?

COW TONGUE COOKIES
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix Crisco and sugar. Add eggs and molasses. Mix dry ingredients and add to above. Shape into balls and then roll like a finger. Roll in sugar and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 5 dozen

In a big dutch oven slice onions to about a 1/4 in and line bottom. place one large or two small cows tongues on top of onions with salt pepper and a bay leaf. Roast at 300 for four hours. Remove skin and slice into 1/2 inch think slices, server with rice, Lima beans and brown gravy. Or simmer with green salsa, use one cup green salsa and one cup water / chicken stock. simmer for 15 min serve with Spanish rice, beans and Cesar salad
