I mean seriously...Christians make such a big deal about Jesus getting some nails in his hands and hanging on a cross...but what about the Women and Children that were raped and slaughtered by early christians invading Jerusalem...and then what about the christians who were burned and tortured in incredibaly horrible ways after Jesus died...I mean seriously...Jesus being the son of God Probably didn't feel a thing...He just had to act hurt to make it more legit...

You raise a good point, but it's important to remember that the Bible just a man-made horror fiction story, designed to have power and control of simplistic and gullible minds. In fact the Bible is trash.

The Bible is the biggest load of garbage and codswallop ever written by man, and I’m sure it will go down in history as the greatest load of gobbledygook ever to inflict such traumatic mental and physical damage on humanity, but still today, some people sadly believe the Bible to be true. That’s very sad indeed. Very sad.

When people quote various passages from the Bible, for example ...

Mathew 5:29-30 God encouraged self-mutilation.
Isaiah 13:15-18 God allowed women raped and little children slaughtered.
Genesis 6:11-17 and 7:11-24 God is the greatest mass murder in history.
Luke 14:26 God wants you to hate your family.

What happens? Religious people pop up from under every stone with the same old garbage. “That was the old Bible, or we’ve changed the meaning, or wrong interpretation, or we’ve changed the context, or the quotes are out of context or or or, excuse after excuse.”

The fact is, they are Bible quotes, and the Bible is full of evil atrocities which religious people continually cover up, yet seem happy to drum into the minds of gullible little children. This is such a shameful disgrace in a civilised world.

If religious people are unable to apply commonsense and logic to develop a simple moral code to live by, then perhaps they could strip out of the Bible the evil, murders, rapes, abuse, and all traumatic references. Granted there will not be a lot left to read, but at least religious people may end up with a decent moral code to follow based on good, and not scare the living daylights out of innocent little children.

The thing is Jesus was 100% man 100% God. He felt everything down to the last neuron.

Maybe youre right though.....

Tell you what-you get to be Jesus for a few minutes! You did nothing but good all your life and you get put on trial for something you didnt do, convicted by evil people without evidence, be found innocent in the court of law, people still inciting you be put to death, then you get beaten, flogged and tortured, spat on, and mocked, anounced that you are going to be released, people again insist you be put to death, a known murderer and REAL guilty person released instead of you, you are put to death to appease the evil people, forced to drag your cross toward your own death until you cant any longer, then nailed to piece of wood, raised so that you slowly die by choking to death or loss of blood (or they break your legs so you lose the ability to resist) continued mocking from your enemies even as you die naked nailed to a piece of wood for all the people and your own mother to see for something you didnt do all so the very people that did it may attain salvation. All this and Jesus still forgave us!

How would you feel? Its one thing to not only be innocent and suffer the consequences for others, but to put up with that when you ARE THE VERY SON OF GOD that can destroy the arth in a blink of an eye? How would you feel? Still overrated?

RE: If its a fairy tale then why did u bring it up? Do you always talk about fairy tales? Do you wear a diaper too?

Why ask us if the crucifixion is overrated? Believers will merely hang there heads at your ignorance, maybe get angry at you mocking God. People who believe otherwise will write a handful of comments exactly in line with what you already think. Are you just looking for some new jokes, do you enjoy irritating others that much, or are you simply in that desperate of a need for validation?

Early Christians invading Jerusalem?

I think you are a little confused.

The early Christians lived in Jerusalem and nearby areas. The crusades were about a thousand years later.

Jesus didn't 'act" anything.Put nails through your hands and get back to me on how much it didn't hurt.He was the son of God,but he was still a man.And as for how some "Christians' have acted....I can claim to be a mechanic, but if all I do is destroy cars then I'm probably lying, right.Just because you hang out in church or say you follow Jesus doesn't mean you actually do.Your fruits(i.e. your actions)bear witness to what is really your true path.Jesus never told anyone to destroy anyone else. That's man's perversion of real Christianity.

The Crucifixion isn't were Christ atoned for our sins, that was simply fulfilling prophecy, the point where Christ suffered for our sins is in the Garden of Gethsemane. Where he bleed great drops of Blood, that made him the greatest of all to be in such great pain. Think about it, sweating drops of blood. I don't think any mortal could endure such pain.

He felt it.

11Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practice righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.

12Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.

13*I* [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.

14Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.

15Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.

16*I* Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. *I* am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.

Amen to the first answer. I believe it is underrated. Jesus went through complete agony, and God had to turn HIS back on Jesus at that moment. It was awful.

"Knowing this, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts..."
(2 Peter 3:3)

" Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1)

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false prophets among you, who shall privately bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, bring swift destruction upon themselves". (2 Peter 2:1),
